CALL CRICKET to add the ESN try *22804 send, it may program without the need of a manual programming if it does not then follow the steps below

CONFIGURE INTERNET:

Click DONE . Next we will create a new connection

b) To create a new connection for cricket, press the menu button, which pops up the menu bar at the top. In the left-most menu, select "New".

c) Name your connection, type typing into the box labeled Service:. Name it whatever you'd like, I recommend naming it "cricket".

Select "High Speed Wireless" for the type of modem/connection.

User name: 7203665519@mycricket.com (substitute your 10-digit phone#)

Password: cricket (must be lowercase)

e) Click the Details button. Remove the checkbox from "Mobile IP", so it is unchecked. Cricket does not yet use Mobile IP. Click OK

Next go back to the main menu, then go to WEB, then select, you should get a prompt stating if you want to connect to the internet, choose no, then select menu which is the button right above the message button and to the left of the end button. Go to options, then select preferences, scroll to advanced, then at the buttom left corner you should see SET PROXY, select it and check the box that says use proxy and fill in the information below.

Proxy server: wap.mycricket.com

port: 8080

press ok. To connect go back to the web menu, connect, choose ok to connect. Assuming you followed the above steps correctly and you have web access on your plan, you will be on the web in seconds.

MIN - GET THE MIN NUMBER FROM CRICKET

MDN- YOUR PHONE NUMBER,

THEN SAVE

After the phone is already connected and working on a cricket plan, (qpst is the easiest way to change the prl) the steps are as followed:

1. On the phone, go to settings>connections>connections....Under MY WORK NETWORK, hit add new modem connection.

2. You can name it whatever you want, just make sure the modem says cellular line

3. Hit next, the phone number is #777 and hit next.

4.For the user name, put (the customers mdn W/ area code)@mycricket.com...... for the password, put cricket.

5. Leave the domain blank and hit finish. Go back to your connections and hit edit proxy server.

6.Select the Box that says this network connects to the internet and select the box under it too!!

7. Where it says proxy server, put wap.mycricket.com and then hit advanced.

8. There should be 4 different proxys, but click on the one that HTTP one.

9.For the proxy, put in wap.mycricket.com and where it says port, put 8080. Hit okay and do the exact same thing with the remaining 3 proxys.

10. Hit okay and go back to your connections and click on the tab that says advanced. Hit select networks and make sure that my work network is used when programs connect to the internet. (it might not be named my work network, just select the connection name that you made in step 2.)

11.Close everything out and go to internet explorere and type in http://wap.motricity.com, then its going to connect and should go to the cricket portal. (green cricket homepage)
